Consultation, Training, and Community
I believe therapists do their best work when they have space to slow down, think out loud, and feel supported by others who understand the work. This field can be meaningful and energizing, but it can also be isolating, especially in private practice. I offer consultation, professional community, and trainings to help clinicians grow in both their clinical work and their careers. Whether you’re just starting out or more established, you’re welcome.
Peer Consultation Groups
Consultation Group for Private Practice Clinicians. This group is for therapists in private practice who are grounded in social justice and looking for more connection and support. I started it in May 2025 as a space for clinicians who wanted to feel less isolated and build meaningful professional relationships. Members bring a range of specialties and approaches, which makes for rich and thoughtful consultation. We meet biweekly on Friday afternoons to discuss cases, explore countertransference, and talk openly about identity, power, ongoing events, and how these realities impact both us and the work we do. The group is currently full, though you’re welcome to reach out and express interest in future openings.
Early-Career ED Professionals Consultation Group. This group is for early-career clinicians who work primarily with eating disorders and body image concerns. I co-founded this group as a warm, supportive space to connect with others doing similar work, consult on cases, and share resources. The group is weight-inclusive and HAES-aligned, with a multidisciplinary mix of therapists, dietitians, prescribers, and coaches. We meet biweekly on Wednesdays at 4pm EST and are currently accepting new members. There is no cost to participate. I manage several networking and referral communities, including the Private Pay Therapists of Massachusetts and Private Pay Therapists of Maine listservs and the Eating Disorder Professionals of Maine Facebook group.
In addition to the groups I facilitate, I also participate in several ongoing consultation communities, including a monthly eating disorder consultation group for fat providers and another group for clinicians in independent practice who share a strong commitment to social justice.
Individual Clinical Consultation
I offer individual consultation for therapists who want support in their clinical work, especially when working with men around body image, food, and self-worth. This is an area that is often overlooked in training, and many clinicians find themselves wanting more guidance, language, and confidence in this work.
Our consultation can focus on case conceptualization, clinical stuck points, and navigating the unique dynamics that often arise when working with men. This includes understanding shame, emotional guardedness, and the ways masculinity, culture, and identity shape how body image and eating concerns show up. We may also explore countertransference and relational dynamics.
My approach is integrative and relational, drawing from psychodynamic, interpersonal, and IFS informed frameworks. I aim to create a collaborative and grounded space where you can bring real questions and leave with greater clarity and direction. Consultation can also include support around building a niche, developing confidence as a clinician, and navigating the emotional realities of this work.
Consultation rates:
$185 for 55 minutes
$120 for 30 minutes
$500 for a 3-session package (55 minutes each)

Professional Training
I offer webinars and trainings for clinicians who want to better understand and work with men around body image, eating concerns, and self-worth. This is an area that is often overlooked in traditional training, leaving many therapists feeling underprepared and unsure how to approach these conversations with confidence and depth.
My goal is to provide education that is practical, research-informed, and grounded in real clinical work. These trainings focus on the emotional and cultural context shaping men’s experiences, including masculinity, shame, vulnerability, and identity. I also explore how body image and eating concerns often show up differently in men, and how therapists can create spaces where these struggles can be named and worked through.
Current offering:
Beyond the Mirror: Understanding Body Image in Gay & Bisexual Men
More coming soon!
My trainings are not currently eligible for continuing education credits, though this is a future goal.
